A Quick Note on Discarnates…   2 comments

Another great post, very well worth reading, no matter how long you have been doing it, whatever “it” is.

The Road to Hel

spiderLately among my local crew of pagans the topic of discarnates has been coming up and I wanted to write a little on it. Based off of what I was taught a discarnate is a thought form that is created by someone with enough faith and intent that it gains it’s own sentience. According to lore these “thought forms” can then be sent out to achieve various results and perform various tasks, similar to a familiar.

While at first this seems crazy the Tibetans have been practicing this feat of shamanism for thousands of years. They call the thought form a Tulpa. Numerous scientific tests have been performed on these Buddhist monks who through months of arduous meditation and visualization are able to see and communicate with a manifestation of their own creation. 1. You’re right….it’s an excellent post. Thanks for reblogging this and drawing our attention to it, otherwise it would have slipped under our radar as we’d never been over to that blog before. It’s a great topic for discussion. It’s been a while since we’ve seen a fresh article on discarnates and even longer since we’ve read such a thoughtful and well written one. We noticed some of the comments reflected more on the nature of discarnates themselves. It brought to mind a conversation that took place between R. J. Stewart and the late Isaac Bonewtz, the former contended that elementals were a ‘gathering of forces into undeniable and certain patterns, forces with their own objective existence. The latter argued that elementals only existed in the temple, where the ritual magician had created them. Were they discussing two different things? Or just two different ways of relating to the same thing? Do we have a definitive answer….absolutely not! We do experience a very different ‘feel’ however, when working with different energies/entities, those we are relating to as an external presence as opposed to those we have willfully projected from ourselves.

    • So very true, which is hard for others who do not “Work” with energies to understand. Glad I found it, but I always have a looksee to see what is new, just in case I find something like this which may be useful to someone, even if not me.
