I have come across several times people saying along the lines of “Their Faith boasting is bull”. Just because someone says that they talk to their Gods, or Angels, can astral travel, breathe fire, walk on water, send healing, Psychic vamping or anything from 100 other things and tell everyone about their own Faith is just trying to validate their own Faith.
Thank you, I thought I was telling the world about an integral part of who I am, as much me as my music, but I guess that I am just trying to boost my ego. Fair comment, I guess.
But do you commune with your God/Gods, can you Heal or Curse. No, what do you mean no, you have not tried or you can not do these things. Why? Are you one of these people who expects people to be as you? But you are like that. I know that people can visualise an image strong enough for others to see, but I can not, I also know that people can see Auras but I can not. Just because I can not do something does not make it Bull. I can not ice-skate but I have seen it on TV.
Alistair Crowley was just validating is ego by writing all of his books, including Magick and 777, Peter J Carroll and Psychonaut was making it up to make a bit of cash, Amber Wolfe and her Shadow of the Shaman was living in a fantasy world, Gardiner was trying to validate his faith when he formed and founded the Wicca Faith. Ian Annon, (that is my pen name) is a deluded egotistical trying to get popular. One question? Apart from Gardiner, whom I have not had much dealings with, what do the rest have in common? We all can do stuff that you can not. Even just writing everything on here am I being egotistical? Have you read my first page? First Paragraph?
My point is just because you are egotistical and you think everyone else is like that, some of us are very private, but we really believe in what we believe in, even if it is just ourselves, (like Crowley). Maybe you really should take a closer look at yourself and judge yourself first. I have and now I am the man I was not 20 years ago. I am who I am, but are you who you think you are?
Thanks for the sensible critique. Me & my neighbor were just preparing to do a little research on this. We got a grab a book from our local library but I think I learned more from this post. I’m very glad to see such fantastic information being shared freely out there.
Joaquina, thank you.
Have you ever thought about adding a little bit more than just your articles? I mean, what you say is fundamental and everything. But think of if you added some great images or videos to give your posts more, “pop”! Your content is excellent but with pics and clips, this blog could certainly be one of the best in its niche. Excellent blog!
google, so you got the message. Ok and I know that you have read my pages, so answer me this, if you would. What type of pics or videos would you suggest? The only thing I can think of it a pic of me (boring) standing in a field (yawn) doing what I do, (not a lot to be honest), unless I edit it so that I have a green energy glowing from my chest and lightning flowing through my fingers. I will give your suggestions due consideration and let you know what I think.
