To Eat or not To Eat   Leave a comment

I love pork, the taste and smell. Fit for the Gods, (yes they ate Pork as well). But I have been told off by Wiccans and Vegans, but strangely not Veggies for eating an animal. But this is my point. Pigs are bred to be eaten and the skin can also be used for clothing, as with all leather type fabrics. So most of the pig is used, cool. Do not eat fish or meat, it is wrong to eat an animal.

So I go out and forage (in the local supermarket) for seeds and nuts and berries. And this is all I eat, no Iron, no fat, No Pork. Ok, Right, fair enough. Answer me one question, if you would. Why can I eat a baby plant but not eat an Adult Animal? Plant the seed, nut or berry and next year I have a new plant, then I can eat its babies. So why am I wrong to eat meat but right to eat baby plants? Have you ever left a potato? It sprouts, thus it is still alive when you skin it and cut it up.

My point is this. We have to eat to survive. All animals and Plants are all alive, created by Danu. Give a Tiger or Croc the chance and it will eat a Human. We are just another animal in the food chain, it is just that we may have a slightly higher conscious, but that varies from person to person, so we, as a race thing we are something special. Yeah Right. Special alright.

Do not get me wrong, I am not saying those who chose not to eat meat are wrong, just please do not tell me I am a murderer for enjoying a Bacon Sandwich, or I will say you commit genocide by eating a packet of sunflower seeds. I eat 1 animal, you eat 100 plants. Balance in Nature. All Life is sacred and Death is Sacred
